I will have a more detailed birth story in a few days after I wrap my head around another child coming forth from my body. For now I can tell you that A2 is beautiful, peaceful, and lovely. She made her arrival last night at 8:27, is 8 lbs even, and I pushed twice. A much different experience than with EB, and gravity was my friend. Most of my laboring was done standing up; I gave birth on my knees with my midwife behind me.
Holy craps, I made a human. Again. And I love her.
Mama Jells.

She’s so beautiful, Jells! Congratulations on a job VERY well done! Can’t wait to hear the full story
Thanks so much! I saw the holla on your most recent post, too! xoxo
I sent this picture to my mom before you made this post. Because we are invested in your life now. You can’t get rid of us. She is beautiful and perfect. I can’t wait to see her grow up with her big sister Eebs!
Aren’t you cute. I am invested in y’all, too! You better not go anywhere! I am excited to write the sisters post soon b/c I know it’ll blow you and your mom’s minds especially.
Congratulations Jell!!! She is absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait to hear more about it
Thank you! I blew through all 3 birth story posts last night to get it out while it was still fresh.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Beautiful baby!
Thank you!
She is gorgeous Jelly belly! Can’t wait for the full story!
Hey lady! Thanks! I can’t believe it’s over and done already!
I can’t believe you’re already back to blogging! You’re a rock star!

It sure was fast! Both the pregnancy and labor!
yay! Congrats! Love her!
Hey thanks! We’re pretty fond of her, too
I’m just in love with her! Oh my goodness, is she a beautiful baby! I told Lily I think she looks like Eebs quite a bit. Time will tell…
For now, I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS! Well done, Jells, job well done. (Can’t wait to hear about the first time Eebs meets her baby sister!)
I want to do a comparison of newborn pics between the two girls because now that the crazy straight-out-of-the-shoot swelling has gone down, I see very distinct features. And I’ll write that post on the first meeting soon!
Oh! Isn’t she beautiful! (even if she came a day late for me to be right!!)! I have tears here as I type this. Lily is right, we are invested and you have all of us in your lives. We are blessed by this fact and I think our lives are richer for all of our connections. I’m babbling. Oh! Isn’t she beautiful!! Well done, Mama. Congratulations. Damn, now I’m crying.
Yeah! Piper says ‘way to go, Mama Jells!’
2 pushes is awesome!!!! Does the 2nd time hurt less?? You’re the only person I “know” that has had 2 both naturally (besides my first doula who I don’t keep in touch with)… that would make me much more eager to have #2!!!
I’m still on the fence! hehehe
Congratulations!!!! I loved Liane when I saw her for my after care check up one time and am looking forward to switching practices to see her, thanks to you!
A beautiful baby girl you have there!!!!
A huge congrats to you on the birth of this beautiful little human. She is a beauty!!
Congratulations! 8 lbs and 2 pushes!!! You are a birthing goddess. So happy for you all. Enjoy your beautiful family.

She is beautiful! Congrats! xxx
Why thanks!
So happy for you and inspired– one day I will do this again and the thought is daunting. Happy to see you did it and it went well! She is beautiful!
It’s definitely a new adventure! The newborn seems easy in comparison. Well, I say that now. Let me rephrase: the newborn is easy during the DAY. And the toddler is easy at NIGHT. So they’re taking shifts at least.
Ha. I have a friend with a newborn who says hers mostly sleeps all day too. It’s possible Max did that, but I honestly think he was angry most of the time and didn’t sleep as a newborn. Maybe I forgot a peaceful period in there…
